The singer gained fame internationally following her appearance as Mia Colucci in the hit Mexican television show Rebelde and was a part of the Latin Grammy-nominated pop group RBD. Anahi has sold well over three million albums in her solo artist. In 1985 at the age of 2 Anahi began her journey in an Mexican television program called Chiquilladas. Anahi was born on 14 May 1983, in Mexico City to the Mexican mom Marichelo Portilla and a Spanish father Enrique Puente. There is an older sibling TV personality Marichelo Puente (born 1978) and an older half-sister Diana Puente from her father's prior marriage.
