The debut single of hers was released in the year 2015. It was a huge success and was praised by critics and listeners alike. It reached number 19 in both Billboard Hot 100 and the Canadian Hot 100. Even Rolling Stone called the song one of their Top Songs in the year 2015. That same year, she released her debut album Know It All with the third song Scars to Your Beautiful being the first of five tracks which reached the top of Billboard charts. This includes the Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200 as well as the Billboard Hot 100. In her Rap-Up Interview the listeners discussed Cara's self-love journey and her fears. Cara's songs include messages of kindness self-love, self-love and mental wellness. The music she sings is reflective of her own personal struggles in dealing with anxiety and depression. Reuters stated that she calls the album "half chaotic, but half done". Her development was assisted by therapy. She also encourages her fellow singers when they need to seek support. Alessia Cara is a Canadian performer who was born on July 11, 1996, to parents of Italian heritage. At the age of 10 old, her parents bought her a guitar which became the beginning of her musical passion. In the age of 13, she started covering songs she liked on YouTube in order to show the public that she was talented and was able to go after a career as an artist. One of her tracks, Sweater Weather, was what got her noticed. EP Entertainment gave her the chance to write and write her own songs.
