At the age of 19 at the time, she dropped Here, her first single. The single was a smash and garnered praise from critics and listeners alike. The song reached the top spot in both Billboard Hot 100 and the Canadian Hot 100. Even Rolling Stone named it as one of the top songs of 2015. In that same year she debuted her album Know It All with the third track Scars to Your Beautiful being one of the five original songs which peaked on the Billboard charts, including The Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200 and Billboard Hot 100. In her Rap-Up Interview the listeners discussed Cara's struggle to find self-love as well as her doubts. When she was 10 years old, her parents gifted her a guitar that became the foundation of her love for music. In the age of 13, she started covering songs she adored on YouTube in order to show the public that she had talent and brave enough to make a profession of an artist.
