Alessia Cara

Her debut song Here was released in the year 2015. The single garnered a lot of acclaim and was well received by both listeners and critics. The song reached the top 19 of both Billboard Hot 100 in Canada and on the Canadian Hot 100. Even Rolling Stone named it one of the best songs of the year. The same year she launched the album she titled Know It All, the track Scars to Your Beautiful ranked in the Billboard Hot 100 as well as the Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200. The track was also one of the five original songs. The song was particularly memorable due to her interview with rapper Rap-Up, many of the listeners were inspired by her story of doubting herself and learning how to love herself. Cara is known for incorporating songs about mental health, compassion and self-love in her music. The inspiration for her music stems from her personal struggles in overcoming mental health issues as well as insomnia. Interview with Reuters she said that her album was "half turbulent" as well as "half perfect". She found that therapy helped her grow and urges other artists to follow the same path. Alessia Cara has been a Canadian artist since 1996. Her parents are of Italian origin. Her parents purchased her a brand new guitar, which she used to discover her love for music. Three years later, when she was 13, she began singing songs she loved via YouTube. It was an excellent way to showcase to others her the talent and the courage. Sweater Weather was the most popular album. An album label, EP Entertainment, noticed her and allowed her write songs.
